I've wanted to do a book called either "Pepita" or "Monkey Trouble" all about the adventures of my Grandma's pet monkey, Pepita. (Yes, she really had a pet monkey. He was my show-and-tell for many years. Smelly little bugger.) Not so much Curious George as just what life was like with a monkey. Bedtime for the monkey meant that me and all the cousins hid in the bathroom till Pita was safely tucked away!
